Álvarez Gómez AGUA DE COLONIA smells like several generations of people who knew better than to make deodorant smell like blue raspberry, and it doesn't burn my armpits or go on messy for a roll-on.

It's fresh, priced fairly, and slightly more elegant than it has any obligation to be.

I have tried a zillion deodorants and I keep buying this. It's my favorite on earth thus far. 

SPEED STICK ORIGINAL has no bergamot harvested at dawn. No sustainable vetiver farm. No founder who discovered himself in Marrakech.

Original smells clean, green, vaguely barbershop, and completely uninterested in your fragrance journey. And I’ve always loved the color. That strange blue green that looks less like deodorant and more like a new planet we haven’t discovered yet. Somewhere out past Neptune, I bet everyone smells like Speed Stick.

There are probably 25 deodorants that could reasonably demand this spot. Speed Stick has somehow outlived the proceedings.

Fresh slaps too. And that brown one? Ain’t bad either. But Original set it off like Strafe baby!
